For now, anyway... Like I did with the writing, I may feel the need to add more as I keep working on this project, but anyway. Sharing too many of the images will give away what happens, and I'm not sure I'm quite ready for that. In the future, I'll probably have a demo for the first couple of chapters, so spoiling their part in the story is kind of... "eh". I just don't want to do it too soon. There is about half a chapter left of white, powdery stuff before I get into the really complex environs! Snow is relatively easy - in fact, it's kind of hard to paint it without it looking plain, so I've just been dashing lines all over the place. :/
I digress. A couple chapters of green, then a chapter of mountains and brush, and then into the red canyons for the final chapter. The hardest part of the work, gathering reference images, is just about done. I only have a couple chapters left for that task, and then it's all about the painting! I might take a break and start roughing out the in-game character sprites. This is mostly a text-based story, so those will be used sparingly, but they need to be done either way. -Erin Leave a Reply. |
